Size: 14 x 8 Shell: 8 ply maple (6 mm) Bearing edge: 45 degrees Hoops: triple flange Tension rods: 10 (x2) Drumheads: Remo Controlled sound / Remo Ambassador Hazy Snare wires: 20 strands Weight: medium Drum code: unknown Sound demo (tuning settings): Batter head: low - low with 1" Evans O-ring - mid - high The resonant head is mid to high tension all the time. Recording: C-3 Behringer microphone (overhead placement) connected with Shure X2U adapter directly to USB laptop port. Recording software: Audacity. No EQ! Video is recorded with Canon Powershot A710 IS. Drum kit: Basix Custom fusion set (all birch shells): Rack Toms: 10x8, 12x9 Floor Tom: 14x14 Bass Drum: 22x18 All toms have Pinstripe clear / Ambassador clear drumhead combination. Bass drum has Evans EMAD as batter head and Basix/Remo factory head as resonant. Cymbals: ZBT Zildijan 13" Hihat Stagg SH crash 16" medium Stagg SH Ride 20" medium Basix hardware. Vic Firth 5a signature sticks. Big, fat, meaty and juicy and a bit raw. Could be improved with die-cast hoops. Please, forgive and don't comment my playing. This is snare drum sound check only.
