It weighs just 13.2 ounces and has one of the best tablet displays on the market with full sRGB color coverage, excellent contrast and resolution. The Fire HDX 8.9 has a 2560 x 1600 IPS display, stereo speakers with Dolby, dual band WiFi 802.11n with MIMO, Bluetooth, a front webcam and rear 8MP camera with LED flash. It runs Fire OS 3.0 "Mojito" on a quad core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU with Adreno 330 graphics, making it one of the faster tablets on the market.
