| Lisa Gade reviews the Dell Venue 11 Pro Windows 8.1 tablet with a 10.8" full HD IPS display. The tablet weighs just over 1.5 lbs. and is 0.4" thick (Intel Atom model 5130) or 0.6" thick (Intel Core-i5 7130 model). We look at the Intel Atom Bay Trail model with the 1.46GHz quad core Z3770 CPU with Turbo Boost to 2.4GHz. The tablet runs full Windows 8.1 32 bit with 2 gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of eMMC storage (Core i-3 and i5 models have 128 or 256 gig SSDs). The tablet has a wide color gamut display that's very bright, dual band WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. 3G/4G is optional. The Venue is one of the very few tablets with a removable battery. We review it with the optional keyboard dock that adds a secondary battery and the Synaptics digital pen. Prices start at $499 for the Atom model and the Core i5 model is $899. The keyboard, pen and dock accessories are sold separately. |

| General Review of the Dell Venue 11 Pro Tablet. This is the Core i5 model with 4GB RAM, and a 128GB SSD (7130 MS) Price on this was right around $1250 with the accessories shown. We wanted to test the Dell to see how it compares with the Surface. A Surface Pro 2 was roughly the same cost. My major gripes would be the lack of gigabit Ethernet on the dock, and currently the way the dock operates the firmware "assumes" that you'll have a keyboard connected to the dock, so the on screen touch keyboard doesn't come up automatically when you select in text boxes. | Dell Venue 11 Pro — это сбалансированное и функциональное устройство. Планшет отличается хорошим экраном, приятным дизайном, приличным временем автономной работы и низким уровнем шума. Он подходит для просмотра фильмов, веб-серфинга, а также работы в офисных приложениях. Но если вам не нужны программы для Windows 8.1, то лучше посмотреть в сторону топовых планшетов на iOS и Android. Всё-таки массу и толщину нельзя отнести к плюсам Dell Venue 11 Pro.
